Top Ten Targets to Be Truly Healthy

Below is a list of what I've come up with as the top ten actions that must be incorporated into our daily diet (for the rest of our lives!!) in order to become our healthiest selves.  In my opinion (and through my research), these steps along with regular exercise will help us become and be our strongest, happiest selves in daily life and will lengthen our lifespans (helping to stave off those awful diseases and disorders that are plaguing our society).

Here are the Top Ten Targets:

1.    Drink Green Smoothies
2.    Eliminate Sugar
3.    Eat Whole/Real Food (not packaged/refined food)
4.    Limit Soy, Meat, and Dairy
5.    Eat Good Carbs
6.    Eat Good Fats
7.    Incorporate Beans into your Meals
8.    Use Other Whole Grains (in addition to or in lieu of wheat)
9.    Drink “Good” Water and Plenty of It
10.  Practice Good Plate Composition and Portion Sizing

On this blog, I will be adding posts that discuss each of these targets or steps -- interposing recipes and tips in the kitchen throughout.
