Addendum to Green Smoothies Post...

Just a little note, putting a 1/4 of a lemon (including peel) in your daily green smoothies gives them a bright, fresh taste--as well as giving you added skin cancer prevention benefits.

Also, to sweeten the smoothies up without added sweetener, you can also juice an orange and add it to the smoothie.  Yum!  Just don't use frozen, reconstituted, or even boxed juices because they often are pasteurized (which means they are devoid of important enzymes) and can even have additives.  When in doubt go with the real thing (oranges, that is)!  (I updated the post with this info, so it's in one place.)
